Our Mission

The mission of the "Digital Culture, Smart Cities, Internet of Things (IoT), and Advanced Digital Technologies and Services" Laboratory is to be a scientific and reputable institution for the production of fundamental and applied research, study, and development of scientific knowledge. It aims to meet educational and research needs at the undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and postdoctoral levels, both within the Department of Informatics and the University of Piraeus in general, as well as the Master's Program (M.Sc.) "Digital Culture, Smart Cities, IoT, and Advanced Digital Technologies," and collaborating Higher Education Institutions.

Director's message

The Master's Program "Digital Culture, Smart Cities, IoT and Advanced Digital Technologies" aims to coordinate the development and organization of research directions in the field of new technologies, particularly those relevant to high-priority areas for our country, such as Digital Culture, Smart Cities, Internet of Things (IoT), as well as Modern Communications and Digital Technologies. The M.Sc. program awards a Master's degree titled "Digital Culture, Smart Cities, IoT and Advanced Digital Technologies" with the following three specializations (tracks): "Digital Culture," "Smart Cities and Advanced Digital Technologies," and "Internet of Things (IoT) and Advanced Digital Technologies." The M.Sc. program is designed for graduates from various scientific fields.
